MUSIC: Migos @ Washington Avenue Armory, Albany. The Atlanta-based hip-hop trio rolls into town in support of their brand-spankin’ new mixtape Migo Lingo. With Love Jones Girlz, DJ TGIF, DJ Rookie and DJ Ketchup. 8:30pm. $30, $65 & $100.

MUSIC: The Day the Music Died @ the Van Dyck, Schenectady. It’s the annual tribute to rock & roll pioneers Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper, who all died in a plane crash 56 years ago. Featuring John & Graham Tichy, Ian Carlton, Steven Clyde and Pete Vumbaco. 8pm. $15.

MUSIC: SmashCrashBash!! @ the Half Moon, Hudson. The monthly garage-rockin’ party features NYC punk-power pop trio Blockhouses, fronted by former Figgs guitarist Guy Lyons. With Private Parts. Doors open at 9pm. $6.

MUSIC: Shadowland @ Mabee Farm Historic Site, Rotterdam Junction. The Howlin’ at the Moon concert series continues with a night of great Irish and Celtic music by Amy Collins, Mark Emanatian and Tom Dolan. 7pm. $5.

DANCE: “Available Light” @ MASS MoCA’s Hunter Center, North Adams. Lucinda Childs, one of the most celebrated choreographers of the modern era, revives her seminal 1983 collaboration with composer John Adams and architect Frank Gehry. During an extended artistic residency, Childs has remounted “Available Light,” which features an updated version of Gehry’s striking set. ARTSWALK: First Friday @ various locations, Albany. The monthly artswalk is highlighted by the opening reception for the Photography Regional at the Opalka Gallery; Wren Panzella’s “Color in Movement” talk & demo at the Sorelle Gallery; and Steve Nover’s photography at the Albany Public Library. 5-9pm. THEATER: “Souvenir” @ Capital Repertory Theatre, Albany. Directed by Maggie Mancinelli-Cahill, the comedy with heart is based on the true story of Florence Foster Jenkins, who rose to fame for her annual, sold-out, opera recitals at the Ritz Carlton. Crowds went wild when she tackled the most difficult arias. The only trouble was that she could not sing. Not a note. 8pm. $20-$60. Through March 22.
