FESTIVAL/MUSIC: “Brooklyn @ Belleayre” @ Belleayre Music Festival, Highmount. It’s the last concert of the summer at Belleayre, and it’s the Hold Steady headlining in support of their latest album, Teeth Dreams. Also performing straight outta the hipster borough are Big Data, Lily and the Parlour Tricks and Joni Fatora, turning it into a mini-fest. 6pm. $36, $46, $56 & $66; lawn $26; students half price.
MUSIC: Billy Cobham’s Spectrum 40 Band @ The Egg, Albany. The master drummer serves up a special evening of muscular jazz fusion in celebration of the 40th anniversary of his debut solo album, Spectrum. With Gary Husband (keyboards), Dean Brown (guitar) and Ric Fierabracci (bass). 8pm. $29.50.

THEATER: “Tomorrow in the Battle” @ Stageworks/Hudson, Hudson. The drama by British playwright Kieron Barry had its world premiere here in August, 2012 and was a smash hit. Now it’s back for a return engagement. 2pm ($24) & 8pm ($29). Through Sunday.
MUSIC: The Anthony Wilson Guitar Quartet @ Maverick Concert Hall, Woodstock. Wrapping up the summer’s Jazz at the Maverick concert series is Wilson’s “Seasons: A Song Cycle for Guitar Quartet,” a work that combines jazz, American roots music and traditional Brazilian samba. Downbeat described the work as “Nothing short of gorgeous… as close to understanding the marriage of artist and instrument as we’ll get in this lifetime.” Additionally, the program will feature music by Thelonious Monk, Carla Bley and Joni Mitchell, as well as arrangements of traditional songs. 8pm. $25.

MUSIC: MaryLeigh Roohan @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Her latest album Skin & Bone proved that she was one of the Local 518’s finest singer-songwriters, but now she’s leaving town for the Big Apple, so it seems appropriate that today’s send-off is on the very same stage where she played her first professional gig, back about six years ago. 8pm. $17.
MUSIC: EMEFE @ MASS MoCA, North Adams. Led by bandleader-singer-composer Miles Arntzen, the 10-piece soul-funk-everything band is on a mission to prove that there are no bad days, only days that need a new soundtrack. It’s gonna be a courtyard dance party to remember. 8pm. $15.
MUSIC: Jorma Kaukonen @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. One of the original early-’60s blues and roots revivalists who went on to co-found two of the most influential rock groups of all time, Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna – plays a rare, intimate solo show showcasing his legendary fingerstyle guitar picking. 9pm. $45 & $45.
