IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: LarkFest announced the line-up and schedule for the bands for next month’s big street fest…

The Both – the collaboration of Aimee Mann and Ted Leo – is slated to make a tour stop at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock at 9pm on Friday, October 3. Tickets range from $29-$59.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Last year’s reunion bash was so successful that punks young and old will be gathering together again to play ScumFest 2014 in Duanesburg, including Lumpen Proles, Capitle, Sadistic Gerbils, Aggressive Response, Bourbon Scum, Chloroform Party and Phantom Signals.

The Low Beat in Albany has bolstered its upcoming concert calendar with a handful of strong new additions, including Hamell On Trial with Jefferson James at 8pm Saturday, September 6; Walter Salas-Humara of the Silos at 8pm Monday, October 6; and first wave British punks the Pork Dukes with Rotten, Bourbon Scum and Neutron Rats at 7pm Monday, October 27.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Country-popster Hunter Hayes is slated to return to the Times Union Center in Albany as a headliner, this time around. He’ll be joined by Dan + Shay and the Railers.

The Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park welcomes video-pioneering popsters OK Go for a concert at 8pm Tuesday, October 14. Limited tickets are available for $10.27; $15 in advance thereafter; $18 at the door.

The Vapor Nightclub in Saratoga Springs welcomes the Bounce Bus Tour on Saturday, September 13 featuring Will Sparks, Joel Fletcher and Timmy Trumpet. Opening the show will be NPG and Kip Chapman. Doors open at 9pm. Advance tickets are now available for $15.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: MASS MoCA in North Adams announced its line-up of concerts for the fall season, and in addition to previously announced gems as next month’s FreshGrass festival, the new schedule includes performances by People’s Champs, guitar guru Gary Lucas, Allen Toussaint & the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Elska and more.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Veteran popster Rick Springfield slips into The Egg in Albany for an intimate solo concert. Tickets go on sale Friday (August 29).

UPDATE: Last week, we announced Stefon Harris’ upcoming homecoming concert at Proctors in Schenectady at 7:30pm on Thursday, September 25. Now, it’s been revealed that the band that the jazz vibes master will be bringing with him features Linda Oh (bass), James Francis (piano), Jonathan Pinson (drums) and Elena Pinderhughes (flute).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Country music star Martina McBride returns to the stage of Albany’s Palace Theatre in support of her new album, Everlasting, which finds her tackling a wide range of pop and soul standards from Van Morrison’s “Wild Nights” to Otis Redding’s “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long.” Tickets go on sale on Thursday (August 28).

OPENERS: At the Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park, Misterwifes and Vinyl Theater will warm-up for twenty one pilots at 7:30pm Tuesday, September 9, while Jeff LeBlanc kicks off the evening for Cassadee Pope at 8pm on Sunday, September 14, and Within the Fire has been added as the opening act for Steel Panther’s show at 8pm on Sunday, October 12.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Hip-hop veterans Bone Thugs-n-Harmony are gearing up to rock the new Festival Space at Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George next month. Saratoga Springs’ own Dao Jones opens the show.
