Oh Honey Update: From “Glee” to the Road
Late last month, the Brooklyn-based folk-pop duo Oh Honey – featuring singer-guitarist Mitchy Collins and singer-Clifton Park native Danielle Bouchard – signed a major label record deal with Atlantic Records.
And things have been rolling along quite nicely since then…
Airing last night (March 25), the 100th episode of FOX-TV’s hit “Glee” featured Lea Michele and Naya Rivera singing a duet on Oh Honey’s infectious slice of ear candy, “Be Okay.”
Entertainment Weekly hailed them as one of “20 Acts to See” at Austin’s sprawling South by Southwest fest earlier this month.
And today (March 26) in California, they’re launching their cross-country-and-back tour, sharing stage with the likes of the Kin, Finish Ticket, American Authors and James Blunt. There’s no Local 518 date on the tour just yet, so it looks as though Bouchard won’t be getting any closer to a homecoming show than upcoming tour stops in New York City, Boston and Montreal.
Stay tuned for more updates…
