OPERA ON FILM: “Aida” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. The Metropolitan Opera presents Verdi’s classic drama starring Liudmyla Monastyrska as the enslaved Ethiopian princess caught in a love triangle with the heroic Radamès, sung by Roberto Alagna, and the proud Egyptian princess Amneris, sung by Olga Borodina. MUSIC: “Rock for Life” @ the Hudson River Music Hall, Hudson Falls. A benefit concert for Joanne Ganter at the Log Jam, who has been diagnosed with a rare form of kidney cancer. FILM: “A Late Quartet” @ Saratoga Arts Center, Saratoga Springs. The renowned string quartet (Christopher Walken, Mark Ivanir, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Catherine Keener) are about to launch their 25th anniversary tour when one of the members decides to make the tour his last. 3pm. $7; students $5.
