MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Bob Buckley @ Saratoga Winery, Saratoga Springs. A benefit for the Regina Chadwick Fund as Regina battles AML. Wine tasting, beer, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, wine sales and, of course, music by Mr. Buckley (Kamikaze Hearts, These Are the Hits). 1-4pm. $20.
DANCE: “The Nutcracker” @ the Colonial Theatre, Pittsfield. Visions of sugarplums! Choreographed by Madeline Cantarella Culpo, the performance spotlights area dance students alongside the Albany Berkshire Ballet professional company. 1:30 & 4:30pm. $25, $33 & $39; discounts for seniors and children.
MUSIC: The Zucchini Brothers @ The Egg, Albany. The Zucchini Brothers perform their original holiday songs, tunes from their new recording as well as their greatest hits from their two-decade reign as the Capital Region’s favorite family band. 3pm. OPERA ON FILM: “La Clemenza Di Tito” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. The virtuosic Elina Garança sings Sesto in Mozart’s drama set in ancient Rome. Giuseppe Filianoti is the noble Tito, and Barbara Frittoli is Vitellia, in this handsome revival of one of the composer’s final masterpieces. Harry Bicket conducts. 12:55pm. $22; students $15.

FILM: “A Royal Affair” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. This film by Nikolaj Arcel is the true story of an ordinary man who wins the queen’s heart and starts a revolution – all centered on the intriguing love triangle between the ever more insane Danish King Christian VII (Mikkel Boe Følsgaard), the royal physician Struensee (Mads Mikkelsen) and the young Queen Caroline Mathilda (Alicia Vikander). 6pm. $7; students $5.
ART/FILM/MUSIC/MORE: “the end, again: Electronic Arts Graduate Show” @ RPI’s West Hall, Troy. Artworks range from music performances and bio art to experimental game design. Presenting work by Allison Berkoy, Helen Bullard, Heather Dewey-Hagborg, Anton Hand, Ryan Jenkins, Raven Kwok, Ryan Ross Smith and Joshua Thorson. Exhibition and performances at 4-7pm.
