MUSIC: The Julian Lage Group @ Skidmore College’s Zankel Music Center, Saratoga Springs. FILM: “Photographic Memory” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. Filmmaker Ross McElwee finds himself in frequent conflict with his son, a young adult who seems addicted to the virtual worlds of the internet. To understand his fractured love for his son, McElwee travels back to Brittany for the first time in decades to retrace his own journey into adulthood. 6pm. $7; students $5.

FILM: “Political Advertisements IV: 1952-2012” @ the Sanctuary for Independent Media, Troy. Media artist Muntadas is on hand to screen this compilation of political commercials, an ongoing series that documents the manipulation and selling of the American presidency. 7pm. $10 suggested donation; $5 student/low income.
