THEATER: “Anti-gone” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. An adaptation of Sophocles’s classic tragedy Antigone with spoken word by Linda Mussmann, dance by Maria Boxill and music by Ryder Cooley on accordion and saw, coupled with experimental sound. 7:30pm. $10.
MUSIC: “Lennon Re-Imagined: the Beatles & Solo Years” @ the Guthrie Center, Great Barrington. The eight-piece Nutopians – led by Rex Fowler (of Aztec Two-Step), Tom Dean & Alana MacDonald (both of Devonsquare) – kick off their two-night tribute to the music of the Fab Four’s most caustic and idealistic member. 8pm. $35.
MUSIC: “Fever: The Peggy Lee Songbook” @ SPAC’s Spa Little Theater, Saratoga Springs. Connie James steps up to the microphone to pay tribute to the great jazz singer-songwriter. 8pm. NOTE: Wesla Whitfield was originally slated to perform, but she has been forced to cancel due to illness. Thru Sunday.
