I saw Ruthie Foster a few years ago–she was excellent.

As for my wishlist: Hoping The Egg will book Dr. John (it’s been ages since he last played Albany, and his new album is a killer), Buddy Guy, Sam Phillips, Neko Case, and Trombone Shorty.
