FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Green River Festival @ Greenfield Community College, Greenfield. It’s Day Two of the two-day fest. Today’s featured performers on three stages include Richard Thompson, Ozomatli, Martin Simpson, CJ Chenier, Rubblebucket, Winterpills, Brown Bird and lots more. Music from 12:30-8pm.
FESTIVAL/MUSIC/FOOD: Troy Pig Out @ Riverfront Park, Troy. It’s Day Two of the two-day fest of barbecue and blues, ribs and rockin’. The fest runs from 11am-4pm. Sampling throughout the afternoon. Director Malgoska Szumowska’s provocative exploration of female sexuality, starring the fearless Juliette Binoche as Anne, a well-off Parisian journalist investigating the lives of two student prostitutes (Joanna Kulig and Anaïs Demoustier) for a magazine article. 5:30pm. $7; students $5.
