DANCE: Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company @ Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Springs. Two-time Tony Award-winning choreographer Bill T. FILM/MUSIC: “The Great Rock and Roll Swindle” @ the Saratoga Arts Center, Saratoga Springs. The Sex Pistols star in director Julien Temple’s bizarre and hilarious 1980 fictional documentary that charts the rise and fall of punk’s most notorious band. Followed by a live performance by one-night-only punk band Jewey Rotten and the Goys. 7:30pm. $10; $7 with Saratoga ArtsFest Pass.
DANCE: Val Chmerokovsky @ Vapor, Saratoga Springs. One of the dancing professionals on “Dancing With the Stars” drops into the Spa City to show off some fancy footwork and offer a meet & greet session. 6pm. FREE.
MUSIC: The Paul Winter Sextet @ the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center, Great Barrington. Reuniting to celebrate their 50th anniversary are saxman Winter, pianist Warren Bernhardt, drummer Harold Jones and bassist Cecil McBee, along with trumpeter Marvin Stamm and baritone saxist Howard Johnson. 7:30pm. $20; VIP with post-show reception $50. FILM: “Pink Smoke Over the Vatican” @ the Spectrum 8 Theatres, Albany. A documentary about the courageous women who have undertaken the pathway to ordination in the Roman Catholic Priesthood as Roman Catholic Women Priests. The Rev. Jean Marchant will speak following the screening. 7pm. $10.
