FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival @ Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Springs. The final day of the two-day fest features two stages and a parade of musicians, including Sing the Truth (with Angelique Kidjo, Dianne Reeves & Lizz Wright), A Night in Treme (with Donald Harrison Jr. & Cyril Neville), Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, the Bad Plus and more. And, oh yeah, no Michael McDonald, either. 12noon. Reserved tix are $45-$65; $35-$55 for children under 12. Lawn tix are $50; children under 12 free.
FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Old Songs Festival of Traditional Music and Dance @ the Altamont Fairgrounds, Altamont. The final day of the three-day fest features plenty of workshops and mini-concerts throughout the day, culminating with a 3:30pm main stage concert emceed by Bill Spence and Roger the Jester and featuring a choral harmony session led by the Amidons and a Folk Legacy 50th anniversary celebration with Caroline Paton, Ed Trickett, Harry Tuft, Ian Robb, as well as Ruth Pelham, Babik and Quickstep. 9am. $35; seniors and students $30; youths (age 13-18) $20; ages 12 and under free.
FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Solid Sound @ MASS MoCA, North Adams. The final day of Wilco’s second annual festival of eclectic music featuring the Levon Helm & His Rambling Band, Pillow Wand, the Autumn Defense, Pronto, Glenn Kotche and more. Also films, exhibits, storytellers and even a yoga class. 12noon. $65; kids ages 7-10 $50 for the weekend; kids age 6 and under free.
MUSIC: David Malachowski & the Woodstock Allstars @ the Bearsville Theater, Woodstock. A fundraising concert for Congressman Maurice Hinchey featuring guitarslinger Malachowski and his band featuring Pete Levin, Jerry Marotta, Mike Visceglia and very special guest vocalist Genya Ravan. 4pm. $50, $100, $250.
THEATER: “Dream Street” @ the Wood Theater, Glens Falls. The Adirondack Theater Festival offers a reading of Sean Christopher Lewis’ new play that takes a fresh look at the past, present and future of the historic South Street in Glens Falls. Directed by Mark Fleischer. 8pm. $23. Also at 8pm on Monday.
