The Egg in Albany has added several new shows. The electro-tinged British rock quartet Deluka performs a special joint benefit concert for the American Diabetes Association and the Japanese Red Cross at 7pm on Friday, April 22. Priced at $20 (students $15), tix for this show are currently on sale. Comedian Stephen Lynch returns at 7:30pm on Thursday, May 5, with tickets – priced at $29.50 – slated to go on sale to the general public at 10am on Tuesday. Godsmack frontman Sully Erna leads an eight-piece band at 8pm on Sunday, May 22, in support of his debut solo album, “Avalon.” Priced at $37.50, tix will go on sale at 10am on Friday. And in celebration of Taiwanese American Heritage Week, the Taiwanese American Cultural Society of the Capital District is presenting the Amazing Taiwan Music Culture Tour featuring performances by the Chairman, ciacia, Suming, Ayugo and Yangui Yasiyungu. The Calvin Theater in Northampton welcomes Dinosaur Jr. – playing “Bug” in its entirety – at 6:30pm on Tuesday, June 21. And if that doesn’t get you excited enough, the support acts on the bill include Henry Rollins (a spoken word performance), Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore and the Warblers. Proceeds benefit Whole Children. Priced at just $25, tix go on sale on Friday.

Proctors in Schenectady is hosting “An Evening of Pops” with vocalists Clint Holmes and Susanna Gabbiano with the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra at 8pm on Saturday, May 13 and again at 2pm on Sunday, May 14. The concerts are joint fundraisers for Proctors and the Schenectady Symphony. Tix are $20, $30, $35 and $50.
