COMEDY: The Brew Ha-Ha Comedy Showcase @ Saratoga Arts’ Dee Sarno Theater, Saratoga Springs. Host Greg Aidala presents the second of his weekly Spa City laughfests. Tonight’s headliner is Pat Dixon (from Comedy Central “Presents” and VH1’s “Best Week Ever”) with local comics Adrianna Flax, Ed Daniels and Brendan Joseph warming up the crowd. 8 & 10pm. $15.
MUSIC: The Philadelphia Orchestra @ Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Springs. It’s time to say goodbye to Charles Dutoit, the longtime artistic director and principal conductor of the orchestra’s Saratoga season, and Chantal Juillet, director of the Saratoga Chamber Music Festival, at a special “Farewell Celebration Concert.” The evening will feature Dutoit leading his final program as principal conductor and Juillet’s solo violin performance of Korngold’s “Violin Concerto.” The evening will conclude with a toast to the artists and fireworks. 8pm.
MUSIC: Jim Gaudet & the Railroad Boys @ Dynamite Hill Recreation Area, Chestertown. Hot country picking and soaring bluegrass harmonies wrapped around Gaudet’s wry, witty songs in a charming small-town setting. 7pm. Free.
