Friday, July 10th, 2009

“VAC’ZINE” is the new self-published magazine from the Visionary Art Collective @ VARGA Gallery in Woodstock. All artists, writers and whoever are invited to submit original 2.5″ x 2.5″ images or writings to be reproduced in black and white.

The first edition of the ‘zine – a special Woodstock 40th Anniversary commemorative publication – will be on sale in August.

If you’ve got work that you’d like to submit, you’d better get cracking – the deadline for submissions is Monday, July 20, and no e-mail submissions will be accepted.

Submit your work by snail mail only to:
VARGA Gallery – VAC’ZINE
130 Tinker Street
Woodstock, NY 12498

As Christina Varga declares, “Poems, prose, rants, editorial, comics, line drawings and whatever else you can fit on a 2.5 inch square piece of paper are welcome – that includes erotica, ephemera, et cetera. No sculptures, boogers or anthrax, please.”
