This promised to be a once in a lifetime concert, and it was. The members of UK played a full set at The Egg in Albany, and it was exceptional. The band met and exceeded all expectations.

Most of UK’s self-titled album was performed, and, as an added bonus, we were treated to some red-and-black numbers of King Crimson – “Starless and Bible Black” and “Red.”

Sean Rowe Goes Foraging in UK

Nippertown soulman Sean Rowe is still across the Big Pond on tour in England with Brit band Noah and the Whale (whose new album, “The First Day of Spring,” arrived in our mailbox today).

Here’s his latest video report:

Rowe will be returning stateside in time to perform at the WEXT benefit concert at the Exit Dome (aka, the WMHT-TV studios) in the Rensselaer Technology Park in North Greenbush on Friday, October 23.

Sean Rowe on the Road in the UK

Nippertown acoustic soul singer Sean Rowe made the big jump across the Atlantic at the end of September for a UK tour with London indie rockers Noah and the Whale. He’s in the middle of the tour now.
