The historic Marriage Equality Act will go into effect in New York State on Sunday, and couples all around the state aren’t wasting any time.

Among the many couples who will be tying the knot at 12midnight on Saturday are Linda Mussmann and Claudia Bruce, the co-directors of Time + Space Limited since 1976. They are longtime partners, who have lived, worked and loved together for over 35 years. And they are thrilled that this long fought-for day has finally arrived.

Naturally enough, the ceremony will be held at Time + Space Limited in Hudson. The Honorable Richard Scalera, Mayor of the City of Hudson, and the Honorable Cheryl Roberts, Town Justice of Austerlitz, will preside over the nuptials.

Following the ceremony, there will be a two-hour reception with music and dancing. The festivities will resume at TSL the following morning, Sunday, July 24, at a pot-luck wedding brunch reception from 11am–2pm honoring the newly married couple. Guests are asked to bring a dish to share.

Both the wedding ceremony and the receptions are open to the public. If you plan on attending the ceremony and/or the brunch, please RSVP to TSL by telephone at 518-822-8448 or by email to And if you’re attending the ceremony, please arrive by 11pm on Saturday.

Congrats, Linda & Claudia!

The seven-member troupe pulled into Time + Space Limited in Hudson on Thursday for their 13th annual spring appearance there. Wrapping up a southern tour, T+SL is the final stop before they head home to Glover, Vermont.

This time around, they’re presenting “The Decapitalization Cabaret,” an hour-long romp of funky political vaudeville featuring a variety of skits, songs, dances and a bit of audience interaction. And on Thursday’s opening night performance, they kicked it off with decapitation as well as decapitalization, as a trio of headless capitalists in business suits and briefcases kicked up their heels in a dance mourning their loss of profits, as well as their heads.
