James Taylor tickets available?

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

Looking for a bit of info, we logged onto Tanglewood‘s website, and noticed that suddenly tickets are now available again for what had previously been a sold-out series of benefit performances by James Taylor this week.

Not just lawn tickets, either. There are actual reserved amphitheater seats that can be yours for the buying. At least there were when this story was published.

Anyway, here’s how the James Taylor Festival at Tanglewood in Lenox, Mass. is shaping up:

6pm today: Percussion master class hosted by Vic Firth and featuring Steve Gadd and Luis Conte. Ozawa Hall. Gates open at 5pm. Free with purchase of other James Taylor concert tickets. Reservations required.

8pm Thursday, August 27: “Conversations Among Friends.” James Taylor presides over an intimate, informal conversation and performance with members of his band. Ozawa Hall. Gates open at 5:30pm. Lawn and amphitheater seats available $17-$51.
