The Out of Control Rhythm & Blues Band

The multi-talented Rick Rourke is a veteran on the Local 518 music scene, having sung and played with a variety of bands over the years. Now, for the first time, Rourke is bringing three of his most prominent bands together on the stage for the same show…

On Sunday, January 27, the singer-songwriter-triple-threat-instrumentalist will celebrate the release of his new solo CD “The 3 Sides to Every Story” with a CD release party at The Egg in Albany, and it will be the first time that three of his popular Local 518 bands – Rick Rourke & Lost Wages and the Bluz House Rockers, as well as a reunion of the Out of Control Rhythm & Blues Band – will all share the spotlight. Expect some other surprise guests to join in the festivities, too.

The 2pm matinee concert will be hosted by the PYX-106 morning team of Quinn and Cantara, and proceeds from the concert will benefit the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.

Tickets for the concert are $20. VIP tickets – which include preferred seating as well as three autographed CDs – are also available for $35.
