Just before the Lemonheads appeared onstage at Northern Lights to play their much-loved 1992 album “It’s a Shame About Ray” in entirety, a fan opined skeptically, “This could be very good, or it could be an unmitigated disaster.”
Really, it ended up being neither. Or both. Depending on whom you asked.
First “Hippiefest” came to the Palace Theatre on Thursday in an attempt to flashback to the ’60s and ’70s.
Then “Rock of Ages” took over the weekend at Proctors sending us to the ’80s.
Which can only mean that it’s about time for a little ’90s nostalgia now…
And, yes, ’90s nostalgia will certainly be in full force at Northern Lights in Clifton Park when slacker hunk Evan Dando and his band, the Lemonheads, head into town to perform their classic 1992 album “It’s A Shame About Ray” in its entirety at 8pm on Thursday, January 12. Priced at $15 in advance, tix will go on sale at 10am on Friday.
