Following the annual Capital Pride Parade, Albany’s Washington Park was the site of singing and celebration as former ’80s teen pop icon Debbie Gibson headlined the free Capital Pride Festival earlier this month. And it seemed as though everyone in the park was primed for the flashback pop of “Out of the Blue.” And, yes, now 42 years old, Gibson still knows how to “Shake Your Love.” Rounding out the fest’s entertainment schedule were Aiden Leslie and Local 518 faves the Accents.
