Here’s the current line-up of performers, day-by-day:
The fest gets underway on Thursday (August 16) with music beginning at 2:30pm. There will be three performance stages providing non-stop music throughout the fest, and Thursday’s performers include Jimkata, Zach Deputy, Dirty Paris, Malik B. & Mr. Green, Turtle Soup, the Bolivian Marching Affair and more.
The Bella Terra Festival rolls into Gardener’s Farm in Stephentown (at the intersection of Routes 22 & 43) on Thursday, and it promises to be the biggest Bella Terra bash yet with such impressive headliners as Soulive and reggae pioneer Lee “Scratch” Perry.
If you don’t know Gardner’s Ice Cream and Coffee Shoppe, you might think it an odd place for a music fest, but there at the corner of Routes 22 & 43 in Stephentown, you’ll find 600 beautiful acres of festival space.
You’ll also find some great music – including Grammy Award-winners Joanne Shenandoah and flutist Joseph FireCrow. Rock, Rattle & Drum’s special guest of honor and co-emcee is Golden Globe Award-winning actress and singer Irene Bedard, is best known for her film roles in “Smoke Signals” and “Lakota Woman,” as well as the voice of Disney’s “Pocahontas.”
