Lou V and the rest of his bandmates in Skadee will be sharing the stage with the Energy and an acoustic version of the Slaughterhouse Chorus at the Bread & Jam Cafe in Cohoes at 7pm on Friday. Admission is $5.

BAND AFFILIATION: The Slaughterhouse Chorus
INSTRUMENT: Guitar and resonator

1. THE FIRST ALBUM I EVER BOUGHT WAS … I’m not totally sure, but I think it was the Smashing Pumpkins’ “Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness” on double cassette. However, my first musical love via my parents’ CD collection was definitely the Eagles. These were confusing times.

2. THE FIRST CONCERT THAT I EVER SAW WAS … REO Speedwagon, Foreigner and Peter Frampton at SPAC. I denied this thoroughly after discovering punk rock, but in retrospect, it was a truly epic first concert.
