Five Firsts: Jason Bonafide of the Slaughterhouse Chorus

Thursday, April 1st, 2010

NAME: Jason Bonafide
BAND AFFILIATION: The Slaughterhouse Chorus
INSTRUMENT: Guitar and resonator

1. THE FIRST ALBUM I EVER BOUGHT WAS … I’m not totally sure, but I think it was the Smashing Pumpkins’ “Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness” on double cassette. However, my first musical love via my parents’ CD collection was definitely the Eagles. These were confusing times.

2. THE FIRST CONCERT THAT I EVER SAW WAS … REO Speedwagon, Foreigner and Peter Frampton at SPAC. I denied this thoroughly after discovering punk rock, but in retrospect, it was a truly epic first concert.
