Festival Fever: SAW Barn Bash on Saturday

SAW Barn Bash

Salem Art Works is kicking off its 10th summer season with the SAW Barn Bash from 2-10:30pm on Saturday (June 7).

The day-long family-friendly celebration in Salem will start with an aluminum pour, and festival-goers are welcome to prepare a scratch block and watch SAW staff pour liquid hot metal into their creation. Take tours of the grounds, including the barns and the new trail system through the sculpture park. At 6pm, a chicken barbecue dinner will be served, and the festivities will wrap up with dancing and music from Local 518 bands the BuzzSaw Boys and the Wonder Beards.

A $12 donation is requested for dinner, but otherwise admission to the festival is free. On-site overnight camping is also available for $35 per tent.
