We here at Nippertown.com don’t really need a reason to raise a pint of Guinness and toast to good friends and good times. We do it on a regular basis – with or without reason. But if you happen to feel that a reason is required, well, at least today you’ve got one.
Today marks the 250th anniversary of Guinness, and the St. James’ Gate Brewery in Dublin is celebrating in fine fashion with a big blow-out concert.
If you can’t get a draft, you’ll want to opt for the cans, not the bottles, if you value a creamy head:
- Why do the bubbles in Guinness Stout float down?
- What is the widget and how does it work?
- Audio (mp3) sample of a Guinness can widget being deployed.
So raise your glass to Guinness – a meal in a glass!
