Q. What is the best weapon for hand-to-hand combat with a zombie?

A. A Japanese samuri sword, if you can find a real one, otherwise, a machete. Firearms are okay but remember to shoot at the head, not the body.

Max Brooks author of “The Zombie Survival Guide” and “World War Z,” will be appearing at Kahl Gym at Sage College of Albany on Wednesday, October 28 at 9:00pm

Brooks has also written for “Saturday Night Live”, for which he won an Emmy. His new graphic novel “The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks” will be released in October of 09.

The lecture, at Kahl Gym, will begin at 9 pm followed by a question and answer session at 9:45 p.m., followed by a book signing at 10:15 p.m. Admission for Sage Students is free with student ID, and $5 for others.
