NAME: Robert Capowski

1. THE FIRST ALBUM I EVER BOUGHT WAS … the Allman Brothers Band’s Brothers and Sisters. I had a record player with different speeds – 33, 45, 78 RPM and also 16 RPM – so I would play the record at 16 RPM, which would transpose the music down an octave, so I could play in the same key, but it would slow the song down to where I could figure out Dickey Betts’ lead guitar parts on “Jessica” and “Southbound.” The song I loved the best on that record though was “Come and Go Blues” – the way Gregg Allman sang really got to me.
