Reid“It was a blues song my counselor at summer camp wrote. We performed it at the camp talent show. He played, and I sang, ‘See my lovin’s gonna generate ya, penetrate ya, oooouuuuwww and drive you crazy.’ I have been hooked ever since.”

Singer-songwriter-guitarist Reid Genauer leads his band Assembly of Dust into the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock on Thursday night. The Trapps open the show at 8pm. Tix are $20.

ReidLast Friday, Reid Genauer was down at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, doing a solo show as the opening act for Phish’s Mike Gordon.

This Friday (September 18), he’s back with his bandmates in Assembly of Dust, and the jam-band favorites are kicking off their fall tour with a show at Revolution Hall in Troy.

The band is touring in support of their new album, “Some Assembly Required,” an all-star effort that finds AODust collaborating with such folks as Richie Havens, Bela Fleck, Tony Rice, Grace Potter, John Scofield, David Grisman, Al Schnier and, yes, Mike Gordon.

Nautilus opens the show at Revolution Hall.
