“This morning it was a yoga hip-hop CD that I just picked up. I played a Deepak Chopra symposium over the weekend in California, so I picked up some crazy, drum-based yoga music.

The new Tracy Bonham record, too. I listen to that incessantly.”

Singer-songwriter Rachel Yamagata kicks off her three-week “In the Woods” residency at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock on Wednesday. She’ll be performing at 8pm on the next three consecutive Wednesdays. Tix are $15. Singer-songwriter Adam Cohen – the son of Leonard Cohen – opens the show this week. Ed Romanoff opens on March 23, and Mike Viola opens on March 30.
