Since June, the streets of downtown Albany have been graced with the marvelous kinetic sculptures of the world renowned artist George Rickey.

At 5:30pm on Thursday (January 19), Philip Rickey, the son of the late sculptor, will offer a talk about his father’s art in a lecture titled, “George Rickey: A Discussion of His Work and Development,” sponsored by the Downtown Albany BID.

The hour-long talk will take place at the Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany. Admission is free, but space is limited, so RSVPs are requested.
