Want to help us compile a soundtrack for meteor viewing? Here’s what we have so far.
We didn’t have any luck seeing last week’s Northern Lights here in Nippertown, but if the partial cloud cover clears tonight and tomorrow night, you may be able to see the annual Perseids meteor shower.
Get out of the city, away from any lights. It’s a new moon, which mean there won’t be any moonlight to interfere this year.
The peak is predicted to be at 8pm on Thursday, although the best viewing will be between midnight and 4am early on Thursday morning and again on Friday morning. Look to the northeast.
