Despite ticket prices that ranged from $50 to $150, the benefit concert by former 10,000 Maniacs frontwoman Natalie Merchant at the intimate 1848 Shaker Meeting House in Colonie sold out in just a few hours when they went on sale last Saturday.
So, now a second concert has been added. The sold-out concert takes place at 1:30pm on Sunday, September 27, and Ms. Merchant will now also perform another show at 5pm the same day.
Tickets for the second concert are currently on sale, and prices remain the same. Shelving Rock will open, and proceeds will once again benefit the Shaker Heritage Society.
