One of our favorite get-away-from-it-all destinations opens its doors for another summer season today. Lyons Lake in Nassau is a great place to beat the summer heat, and even now while it’s too cool to swim, it’s a great place to decompress or simply kick back and relax with a burger or a brew.

Doors open today, and instead of the regular menu, Lyons Lake is kicking off the new season with a $12 all-you-can-eat buffet dinner beginning at 6pm. King of the Forest provides live music beginning at 8:30pm.
