Linda Mussman

Performance artists/community activists Linda Mussmann and Claudia Bruce, founders of Time + Space Limited in Hudson, are presenting a new (and probably undefinable) work of original theater: War & Peace: Thoughts and Notes, a work that focuses on “ideas about Napoleon, war, fact, and fiction, and bugles.”

The production features Linda Mussmann’s writing, directing and set design along with performances and music by Mussmann’s long-time collaborator Claudia Bruce, as well as special guest artist accordionist, musical saw virtuoso (and sometimes trapeze performer) Ryder Cooley.

Set up in the east gallery space at TSL, Claudia Bruce and Ryder Cooley are the actors, readers and musicians (playing accordion, piano, guitar, ukulele, drums and bugles) who guide the audience through a text that Mussmann constructed after thinking about the novels of Grossman and Tolstoy.
