They are the Ark-Tones. They play rockabilly.

I went to the Hudson Music Fest earlier this month and caught a cocktail of premium rockabilly served up by Lara Hope & the Ark-Tones, and now I’m back, to let you know she can really shake ’em down from the floor-boards up!

Rock/blues & rockabilly done this well is a beautiful thing to behold, Lara Hope is a beautiful thing to behold, from her Betty Page hair-do to her commanding, captivating vocals, delivered from behind cats-eye glasses with head-swiveling-style. Her band is a tight unit anchored by the upright bass of Matt “The Knife” Goldpaugh and featuring the precise, dare I say it, Tichy-like guitar work of Chris Heitzman and the cave-stomp skin-pounding of one Dave Tetreault.
