“Oh, boy. It was probably ‘Meet the Beatles.’ Although it could possibly have been a Ventures record.

I’m trying to distinguish between the albums that my parents bought for me and the ones I bought myself.

But I definitely remember going to a record store and plunking my money down for ‘Meet the Beatles,’ so that must have been it.”

John Hall – singer-songwriter, founding member of Orleans and former US Congressman – takes the stage at 9pm on Saturday at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock. Opening the show will be Dave Kearney & Elly Wininger. Tix are $20.
