The Guilderland Performing Arts Center at Tawasentha Park in Guilderland kicks off its 34th season of summer entertainment on Friday (June 14) with its annual high school battle of the bands, the Nervosity Concert.

Most of the concerts take place at 7:30pm on Thursdays, although there are some exceptions. And while the majority of the performances are free, there is an admission charge for a couple of events, as noted in the schedule below.

Ten bands featuring musicians of middle or high school age will be performing at the annual Nervosity Battle of the Bands Concert at the Guilderland Performing Arts Center in Guilderland.

Each band will perform for 15 minutes, and the competition will begin at 6pm on Friday. Admission is free; donations are gratefully accepted with all proceeds going directly to help fight against AIDS.
