Real Good for Free: Spencer Day in Hudson

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

Although he’s on the roster of a respected jazz label – Concord Jazz – singer-songwriter Spencer Day has most often drawn comparisons with such eclectic contemporary popsters as Rufus Wainwright and Nellie McKay.

His new album, “Vagabond,” is slated for release on September 8, but you can get a sneak preview when Day plays a free concert in the Hudson Waterfront Park in Hudson at 7pm Friday, August 21.

In case of rain, the performance will move indoors to the Hudson Opera House on Warren St.
