The Dave Matthews Band has announced that banjo-man extraordinaire and longtime friend Bela Fleck will join them onstage when they make their annual summer tour stop at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs on Friday & Saturday, July 3 & 4.
Fleck is expected to join the band for a few songs as part of the bands’ two sets each night. The SPAC shows are one of only two DMB tour stops to feature Fleck as a special guest; the other is August 28 & 29 in Englewood, Colorado.
Reserved amphitheater tickets are sold out for both of DMB’s SPAC shows, although general admission lawn tickets are still available.

“I’m pretty sure it was the Jackson 5, probably their greatest hits album.”
Bassist Stefan Lessard and his bandmates in the Dave Matthews Band return to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center to kick off their annual two-night stand on Friday. The Felice Brothers open both shows at 7pm. Unfortunately, both shows are completely sold out – both amphitheater and lawn tix.

Just in case you haven’t bought your tix for the weekend yet – well, it’s too late now. Both Dave Matthews Band concerts at SPAC – Friday and Saturday, June 12-13 – are officially sold out.
That’s inside amphtitheater seats and lawn tix, too.
And the folks at Live Nation have declared that no additional tix will be released, either.
So if you need to go to Plan B for your musical entertainment this weekend, here are some suggestions.
The Dave Matthews Band is simply one of the biggest concert draws in the country, year after year consistently selling out the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, where they’ll play on Friday and Saturday, June 12 and 13.
Last night, they kicked off their summer tour at the Darien Lake PAC (review here), and on Tuesday, June 2, their new album, “Big Whiskey and GrooGrux King,” is slated for release.
But really, they’re everywhere these days, and here are just a few of the places you can find them:
You can stream the entire album right now at Pandora.
Sunday, May 31: The band makes its morning television debut on “CBS Sunday Morning.”
Monday, June 1: The band is playing a benefit concert for Bama Works Fund at NYC’s Beacon Theater, and the concert can be seen live on Fuse, Hulu and Yahoo.
Wednesday, June 3: DMB does “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”
Friday, June 5: They’ll be playing outdoors in Rockefeller Plaza for “The Today Show.”
And that, friends and neighbors, is what’s known as “rolling out the product.”
