Creed exploded on the national post-grunge scene in 1998 with their self-financed debut outing “My Own Prison.” The album netted them four Billboard chart-topping singles, including “One” and “What’s this Life For.” Two more hugely successful albums followed – 1999’s “Human Clay” and 2001’s “Weathered.” The band sold millions of albums worldwide and toured stadiums, arenas and the largest theaters around the globe.

Then in 2004, lead singer Scott Stapp disbanded Creed, leaving the remaining three band members to continue performing, less successfully, as Alter Bridge.

That was then, and this is now.
