Bring your family and friends, a blanket and a picnic basket to the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown for a series of free outdoor concerts on the lawn this July. The month-long series takes place at 6pm on Tuesdays. Barbecue fare will be available for purchase, and the galleries will remain open until 6pm. In the event of rain, the concerts will be held in the auditorium.

The concert series kicks off on July (July 5) with a performance by the progressive bluegrass family band the Doerfels.

Here’s the complete slate of 2011 performances:

July 5: The Doerfels
July 12: The Sweetback Sisters
July 19: The Sister City Jazz Ambassadors
July 26: Kinobe

The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute in Williamstown hosts a free weekly concert series on the lawn during the month of July. In the event of rain, the concerts will be moved indoors to the Institute’s auditorium.

The concerts begin at 6pm on Tuesdays:

July 27: Viva Quetzal
