“Your Name Here” Sings with Chicago

Monday, November 21st, 2011

Here’s an intriguing opportunity…

The veteran rock ‘n’ roll horn band Chicago will be rolling into the Palace Theatre in Albany at 8pm on Thursday, December 1 for a concert that features selections from their new holiday album, “O Christmas Three” (aka “Chicago XXXIII”) as well as a heaping helping of their greatest hits.

In conjunction with the American Cancer Society, the band is offering a unique promotional auction. “Sing With Chicago” offers fans a chance to bid to win a special VIP package that includes two premium tickets and backstage passes for the concert, a meet-and-greet with the band… and the opportunity to sing the song “If You Leave Me Now” on stage with the band.

The auction is running on eBay through Saturday, and the current bid for the Albany show is $500. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society to raise funds and awareness to help end breast cancer.

Chicago is running this auction at each of their tour stops, and as an added bonus, the highest over-all bidder from the band’s tour will also win a guitar autographed by the band members.
