There’s an awful lot of cool stuff going on Hudson these days – from bigger venues like Time + Space Limited, Club Helsinki and the Basilica to smaller indie art outlets like the Spotty Dog, Musica and Dennis Herbert’s Folk Art Gallery. There are world class recording studios and first class art galleries.

And now it looks like a very bright, international art-world spotlight might be shining on Hudson soon.

Art-world superstar Marina Abramovic’s long-rumored plan for a performance art museum in Hudson is getting closer to fruition. Her proposed Center for the Preservation of Performance Art in Hudson is moving forward with the announcement this week that Abramovic has signed a deal with architect Rem Koolhaus to design and construct the museum.
