Capital Region Guitar Show

So we stopped by the Capital Region Guitar Show last Friday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Saratoga Springs, and guess what we saw?

That’s right, guitars!

All kinds of guitars – from big booming 12-strings to little tiny ukuleles. A Flying V here. A 1937 Martin there. It was a veritable smorgasbord of six-strings everywhere we looked. A fantasia of fretboards. An avalanche of axes. A cornucopia of… Well, you get the idea.

And all kinds of guitar geeks were standing around playing guitars that they couldn’t possibly afford to buy, but, hey, it sure looked like fun to have the opportunity to try ’em out.

There were folkies, country pickers, metalheads, bluesmen – you name it, they were all there.

And we thought – Hey, this would be a great place to surreptitiously audition guitarslingers for your band. Hmmm, maybe next year we’ll be back when we finally start putting together that all-glam Hong Kong Cavaliers tribute band that we’re always talking about…
