Here’s a mighty interesting way to spend your Saturday afternoon: The Second Annual Cannonball Run Challenge & After-Party.
The goal? You and your four-person team are trying to collect a series of challenging photographs around downtown Saratoga Springs using a digital camera.
It all starts at 12:30pm Saturday at Putnam Den, then you and your team (they’ll put together a team for you if you don’t have one) have three hours to collect your photos. Different challenges have different point values, so a photo of your team with blue tongues might be worth fewer points than, say, a photo of your team posing in a store window display.
There’s a $20 entry fee to play, which includes a t-shirt, drink specials and other perks. A portion of the entry money collected will go to the medical fund for seven-year-old William John Hamilton, who is battling leukemia. And there’s a cash prize for the winning team.
