The fine folks at the Delaware-based Dogfish Head Brewery are brewing up new potent potable – Bitches Brew – in celebration of the upcoming 40th anniversary of Miles Davis’ jazz-fusion classic.
They describe it as “a bold, dark beer that’s a fusion of three threads imperial stout and one thread honey beer with gesho root, a gustatory analog to Miles’ masterpiece.”
Don’t head out to your gourmet beer store to buy it yet, however. The 750ml bottles of Bitches Brew aren’t scheduled to be available until late August.

We here at Nippertown.com don’t really need a reason to raise a pint of Guinness and toast to good friends and good times. We do it on a regular basis – with or without reason. But if you happen to feel that a reason is required, well, at least today you’ve got one.
