Festival Fever: The Old Austerlitz Blueberry Festival, 7/25/10

July 23rd, 2010, 10:19 am by Greg

The Austerlitz Historical Society is once again presenting its annual Old Austerlitz Blueberry Festival on the grounds of Old Austerlitz Village from 9am-4pm on Sunday.

The event will feature early 19th century craft demonstrations and wares, antiques, live music and children’s entertainment, lots of different vendors and a variety of foods to feed the masses. And, of course, there will also be blueberries galore. It all kicks off with a blueberry pancake breakfast (for a small additional charge).

The music is primarily folk-oriented, and among the performers will be the Berkshire Ramblers featuring Alan Chartock on banjo. Yes, that Alan Chartock.

Admission for the fest is just $6; children under 12 free.
