Here’s a quick Q&A with photographer Dana Hoey, whose work is currently on exhibit at the Albany Institute of History & Art in the group show, “Summer Exposure: Photographic Works.”

Q: WHAT IS YOUR CONNECTION TO OR FAVORITE CHARACTERISTIC OF THE HUDSON VALLEY?

A: Incredible light! I am a natural light photographer and though I stage my photographs and am rather content driven (as opposed to straight or “discovery” orientated photographers), I just love the light!!
