The Mahaiwe Announces New Concerts

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington has added a handful of new shows to its 2018 schedule of performances. Tickets will be available exclusively to Mahaiwe members beginning at 12noon on Friday (February 2) and will go on sale to the general public at 12noon on Friday, February 9.

THE JOEY ALEXANDER TRIO
Sunday, May 6, 7pm

Born in Bali in 2003, jazz piano prodigy Joey Alexander taught himself Thelonious Monk’s “Well, You Needn’t” at the age of six. Since then, this wunderkind has delighted audiences across the globe.

AIMEE MANN
Friday, June 22, 8pm

Oscar-nominated, Grammy Award-winning singer began her solo career in 1993 with the album Whatever and made a name for herself through her independent success. Earlier this week she won the Grammy Award for Best Folk Album, and NPR named her one of the world’s Top 10 greatest living songwriters.

MARIN MAZZIE & JASON DANIELEY: BROADWAY & BEYOND

The husband-and-wife team of Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley are Broadway’s Golden Couple, performing songs from both the Great White Way and the Great American Songbook.

THE PEKING ACROBATS
