A major reason I’m still in the 518 after coming here to SUNY Albany is the great music scene. Although the local scene needs many more venues for all the bands that want to find an audience, the venues for national acts are great for a population this size.

Here’s to another great year in music…

  1. Steve Nover says:

I left out Super 400’s opening for Ana Popovic; part of the reason it was at # 38

  2. Rudy says:

    cool list

  3. Mark McKay says:

I would go for a new order with Chick and McLaughlin’s concerts going 1 and 2, plus I can’t see Victor Wooten’s brilliant show on there. I miss your honorable mentions, Bongo Steve. Of course, I’m envious of your being able to go to so many concerts.

  4. Mark McKay says:

Tab Benoit’s show at the Cohoes Music Hall was awfully good…looking for it on the lists…

  5. Steve Nover says:

Mark, I did miss Victor Wooten, after seeing him w/ Bela a few months earlier, & I heard good things about Tab’s show………..still working on being at 2 places at the same time………..& realized I left off Phantogram at the Egg; July 27th……saving my ticket stubs helps a lot w/ the list, & managed to misplace-it’s the club shows w/ out tickets that I’m most afraid of overlooking & try to write names & dates
